Absolutely LOVE THIS PLACE! I actually will make a drive up from the auburn california area JUST for Capriotti's!!! Very high quality sandwiches and VERY REASONABLE prices. I get the large for 2 meals lol
We love all their Sandos. Extra cheese is the Business. Candidly, the friendly service has fallen off big time. And they need to improve the cleaning cuz the drain is nasty, splatter on the walls, floors, etc but all fixable.
So I went there because my friend really enjoys eating there. She loves it. Their choices on their menu are very creative. Coleslaw on a sandwich for me not so good. She enjoyed it and said it was very very good The quality of food. The bread everything about it. Very good. As for me I have a very hard time paying $17 for a sandwich.

Omg, this place has changed and not for the best ! This was our favorite sandwich shop, and we've gone here for years. Went in a few days ago , the sandwiches have gone up in price - didn't surprise us but the meat tasted funny , not prime , they charged .60 per slice of cheese instead of .10, and for the first time, my husband had to put mayo o. His sandwich. We had dry, odd tasting philly cheese steak sandwiches and will now go to Jersy Mike's! They are better and less pricey. Plus .my half had meat on 3/4 of the bread instead of a full roll. Yuck
Not the cleanest place. Soda machine needs a thorough cleaning. My eyes were running due to the weather, allergies and the counter person pretended not to hear me ask 3x for some napkins as she was taking my order. The sandwich was just average. Need pepperoncini and red onion for an Italian sandwich, had neither. The sandwich was made quickly and the bread was good.
Second time coming here this time I ordered the Bobby. Still can't believe that you can spend $40.00 on sandwiches ..... and the option for a tip when I'm not even greeted or talked to is hard to believe. The windowsills had dust, and the soda machine area could have used a good wipe down. Back to the sandwiches.... They were tasty and will keep me coming back.
First time I've ordered from Capriottis and I must say, best sandwich I've had in many years. I had the capistrami and was disappointed that I had ordered a small size. It was delicious. My friend had the Bobbie and it was awesome. I want to just go down the list and try them all. The service was great as well.
Wow this place has changed tremendously and not for the better! Ordered the turkey sandwich it was so dry they don't put mayonnaise on their sandwiches anymore I guess which is strange? Turkey was super dry. The worst part of it was the bread it used to be so fresh! It was as the bread came out of the refrigerator and was a week old it was hard and cold not fresh at all. I'm very disappointed this was a favorite in Reno and we would grab it right before we got back on the freeway. Not anymore :(
